Summary

The three pocket pebbled leather K98 rifle pouch (Patronentaschen 98K) held thirty rounds of 7.92mm ammunition. Two pouches were carried by the combat infantry soldier making this one of the most widely produced pieces of field gear.

WWII German M1911 K98 Rifle Ammunition Pouch - Late Pattern Kriegsmarine Gallery

These are late pattern Kriegsmarine (Navy) pouches which are from my personal collection. These pouches have steel hardware with short permanent belt straps. These types of pouches with KM stamps are hard to find.

Late pattern black pebbled leather. Clip dividers are present. Small eagle is stamped on back. The wing measures about 11 mm wide, 9mm high. The Courier style "M" measures 4mm wide by 3mm high. About 75% of original gray paint remains on equipment "D" ring. (20070730-02)
